Trevor Stevado AKA t1v0 has a knack for thinking about problems differently, looking at systems from a different perspective, and exploiting the assumptions we make on a daily basis. After 12 years as an offensive security professional, Trevor has stepped back from full-time cybersecurity to focus on the things he loves most.
Trevor is a DEFCON 26 Black Badge Winner in the IoT CTF and leads the Embedded Systems Village at DEFCON. He has a passion for developing embedded training boards, having built the custom hardware for this course as well as several for student CTF competitions — including CyberSCI, Canada's national cybersecurity competition for post-secondary students.
Outside of security, Trevor is the owner/operator of Beer Grains Supply Co., a homebrew supply store where his passion for homebrewing and entrepreneurship have merged.
