Just Hacking Training! 🥳🎉🎊
I have been sharing educational cybersecurity content for literally over a decade now. Fifteen years, actually! 🤯 As things have grown and grown beyond what I ever imagined they could, I’ve realized that I can’t do it alone.
Recently, we’ve brought on video editors, researchers, sales and marketing folks, more and more team members to really start to lay the foundation to take this from what started as a small YouTube channel to something much more. 🚀
From the very start, my goal has always been to showcase real, practical, and hands-on cybersecurity education. Not just talk, but demos. Content that actually does something, both for me to demonstrate and (hopefully) for you to follow along.
Alongside that, I’ve always been a huge believer in knowledge being free. I put out free videos, all free to watch, and I still strive for that… but it’s not just me anymore. With a team of fantastic people that do need to be compensated for their phenomenal work, I’m trying to find the right balance. One effort towards that is making sure that a good portion of the content available on Just Hacking Training is name your price, and a handful completely free!
But to offer some even more higher quality education — curated with a curriculum, learning plan, quizzes and interactive lab environments: we are pumped to introduce Just Hacking Training.
There are a lot of different types of content on JHT:
- Capture the Flag Archives: reviving past & previous events we have hosted
- Upskill Challenges: small modules of learning to cruise through leisure
- Hack-Alongs: trainings paired with a video demonstration and lab
- Courses & Paths, the traditional courseware offering you might expect: but with learning checkpoints, and on-demand lab environments.
And I mentioned the incredible team of practitioners behind this… JHT is a collaboration from multiple different training developers, and soon even more! We are partnering with many different practitioners to bring you a wide, diverse, and top-notch cybersecurity education. 😎
With all that said, I for one am extremely excited for this project to come to life. This has been in the works for many months, dare I say the original idea stemming years back… and I truly hope you find value in it.
This is, genuinely, the very start. ⏰
