Either way, this course is designed to introduce you to and help you become comfortable with writing PIC. Why? Because PIC is the basis of our Stage 0/1 in the C2 Agent lifecycle, and we will iterate on this as we build our own custom malware for future stages. In order to prep you for what’s to come, we have to get comfortable with PIC. We will run through various labs, developing and generating our own PIC and shellcode to execute our own custom stagers, which you can expand on with the concepts learned.

Prerequisites for WMD 4 – PIC or It Didn’t Happen
This course assumes that students have the knowledge presented in the WMD Intro Path (WMD Courses 1 – 3); therefore, having basic coding skills, experience with shellcode and AV evasion are highly recommended.
This course gives students the option to play on their own or utilize a dedicated virtual environment. Because everything is provided for you, you need nothing other than a computer, Internet access and your brain!
